In the area I'm living, there's no decent netcafe available in workable distance. I tried to get my laptop connected yesterday at a very SIMPLE internet parlour but failed (WHAT THE HELL? Every setting is the same I just don't get it.) It ended up with using their win98 PC to do voice chat with Vincent while they were constructing the wall behind me. Bang!
Anyway, please understand that I cannot upload any photos I took in Mumbai, needless to stay I cannot speak in Chinese @_@
OK. The project I'm in is at early phase, meaning I'm working with another business analyst (who is very good!) to gather requirements (further more, validate the requirements) then finalize it to proceed following analysis and design. Our client is in pharmaceuticals & consumer health industry (which is totally greek to me). Last week we were working with client's IT department head (a very strict german) to find out what is in his brain. He always descrbied his requirement in Mathematic formula and me, who happens to be an total idiot to Numbers (a poet?) has to be very concentrating to get myself on the track. Fortunately I have an experienced colleague with me otherwise I'll be DEAD here.
Although at the last minute our German client didn't give up changing a looks-like-simple requirement (on the phone, he has already back in Europe) but has great influence to the whole process, requirements were finalized by the end of today. Huh. Next we're proceeding analysis on use case modeling which should be submitted & reviewed by WED.
Very fruitful Journey. I mean, compared to my life in Chennai, the pace is really fast here (3 days for requirements & 3 days for use case modeling.) especially there're many responsibilities to take after my colleague's leaving on this Friday. I'll be only one here to work with my offshore team as well as clients BEHIND me.
wish me luck.. I'll take this adventage to fulfill myself.

you're right about 50%:
this project will only be finished at the end of March 2005, meaning I cannot go back to TW as scheduled. T_T
