734 trainees joined Infosys on 11 July 2005. This is once again the largest number of people to join any IT company on a single day in India and perhaps in the world.

Tackling such a huge batch had its own set of challenges. For example, there is no room at the GEC that can seat 730, so they had to conduct the induction simultaneously in three rooms. This had speakers hopping from one room to the other, session after session.
PS: The photographer slogged for 3 hours to erect a 35 feet tall scaffolding in order to click this snap!!
