Shet... it's fxxx freezing cold up here!!
It was indeed a long journey (TPE -> HK -> LA -> CHICAGO plus flight delays plus super xxxx security check).... I'm falling apart now and have to give up working on a thing that I'd better complete by today rather than tomorrow (who knows what will happen on jet-lagging Monday?!)

you should fly to Tokyo then directly to Chicago...
that will save you a lot of time...
