2006年歐洲文化之都－－佩特雷
希臘的佩特雷(PATRAS)獲選為2006年的歐洲文化之都(European Capital of Culture )
1985年正式開始的歐洲文化之都由歐盟策劃，每年選定不同的城市藉以彰顯其歷史與文化特色
十年來成為許多國家與城市視為都市再造的新契機
第一次的文化之都文希臘的雅典 ２００６年這個榮耀再度降臨希臘
