第一次聽到 Fiest，帶點歐風的穿透感，還以為是歐洲來的慵懶正妹，卻是在加拿大土生土長的。出乎意外，那樣的聲音居然是從龐克起家，原本是加拿大一個龐克樂團 Placebo 的主唱，因為一次聲帶受傷，在靜養的時候拾起吉他卻因此找到自己的路﹝再一次，人生的起落真的是難說啊﹞。第一張專輯《Monarch》雖引起些許的注意，但真正讓她的嗓音引起漣漪的是《Let It Die》，這個漣漪因為 Lacoste Essential 選用〝Mushaboom〞為廣告主題曲而掀起時尚巨浪。Feist 的音樂帶點民謠、帶點爵士、帶點 bossa nova、當然還有點搖滾。

Feist 絕對是個愛跳舞的女人，她在每個 MV 中都會秀一點 movements，一點都不專業，但那份自在就夠迷人了，這當中，我最愛〝One Evening〞了！

Recently I was busy preparing for my seminar. Today I finally finished it. It’s such a relief~ 萬歲~ \(^^)/

Good music is necessary when preparing for presentations. It can’t be too loud, and it can’t be too slow. It must provide me a pleasing and comfortable aura. Feist just released her new album “The Reminder” on April. Since the new album was not on hand now, I reviewed her last album “Let It Die”. It was so right that my iTune kept playing it during my preparation for the seminar.

At first I thought Feist is an attractive European, but actually she is from Canada. She started in music as a vocalist in a punk band called Placebo (not the famous British band Placebo). After a voice damage, she took up guitar and found her own music. The first album “Monarch” didn’t draw a lot of attention, but the second one “Let It Die” successfully sailed into the international audience. Feist’s music includes a little folk, a little jazz, a little bossa nova, and a little rock.

Feist must love dancing. You can see her little movements in her each MV. Among them, I like “One Evening” the most.

How come you won’t love this cute weird woman after watching this MV?
