Firework

When we look up
What are we waiting for?
A bright sky at night
Endless hope in the dark
When we look up
What are we surrounded by?
Thousands of cheers
Followed by a sigh
When we look up
What is happening inside?
A surge of dopamine
An illusion of felicity
It’s like pole vaulting
Feel flying at the moment
But... after the turn
Always fall to the ground
Fortunately and unfortunately
Naive us who choose to believe that moment
Keep jumping and jumping
Wanna grab the high
Falling and dreaming
Dreaming and falling
Still projecting our desire upon something sparkling

Comments
Suddenly, a brilliant streak of light
flashed across the sky.
A shooting star, it's bright for you only.
In that moment, you have everything. Make a wish.
"Let it freeze now and forever"

A shooting star will come
I will make a wish
In that moment, I will have everything
But I believe nothing forever
Freezing is not alive
A life interesting because it fluctuates
Probably one of my problems though...
Thanks. :)
