Everyone Poops
Obama 真是個很有魅力的演說者，昨晚的就職演講在我看來幾近完美。
堅定的語氣，合理的推衍，適度的激情，十分漂亮的英文，最後以一位 106 歲的高齡奶奶投票經歷切入，說明美國近代民主的演程並帶出願景，高招！無論你支持他與否，這確實是一篇相當值得聽的英文演說。
(一定要推一下 NBC 的轉播，給你全螢幕，沒有跑馬燈，這樣才對嘛~)
全文可在這裡找到。比對了一下，發現某些小地方不同，主要是文字稿少了一些感謝家人跟競選團隊的部份，不知道是現場情緒高昂多說了，還是事後發稿稍微修飾了情緒。
台上的講者有領導者的風範信誓旦旦，但最令人動容的是台下聽眾相信的眼神，原諒我，我很難不想起 2000 年在台灣的那一晚我看過一樣的眼神，甚至我自己就閃著那樣的眼神，而八年之後，我們看到了什麼？

我不是要也不想唱衰美國的政治，畢竟見過扁屎的我還是在 Obama 提到理想時被打中了，他這麼說：
Tonight we proved once more that the true strength of our nation comes not from the might of our arms or the scale of our wealth, but from the enduring power of our ideals: democracy, liberty, opportunity, and unyielding hope.
我還是相信理想是比原則更純粹的動機。但如他自己所說，當選並不是美國所追求的改變，而是個實現這改變的機會，希望他會不一樣，能堅持他的誓言，讓理想長出手腳，披荊斬棘地向前邁進；又或者拉的屎能小坨一點，比較好清理就好。

美國的種族問題極其複雜，其實 Obama 能當選這件事本身就已代表著一些改變。
今天持續收到 g500 mailing list 的信，大家分享著一些關於這選舉結果的小故事，其中 John Fiebke 的信頗令我感動...
"There were two moments for me last night in Chicago that stood out to me in regards to race, and they were really simple moments.
Just after the speech, when everybody was trying to figure out how to get out, a young black guy walked past me going the wrong direction, talking to himself loudly, as if he was trying to believe it himself...saying "The President..is a black guy. The President...is black..."
The other was just a man I saw, an older black man standing on the sidewalk of Michigan Ave, wearing a full three piece suit, standing there not moving while the crowds walked past, cheering. He just stood there, straight as an arrow not moving a single muscle, and stared out at the crowd.
I'm not even old enough to realize how far he must have been thinking that we've come."

我總覺得一個國家的運勢也不是一個總統可以改變的了什麼.
大家好像都覺得很有希望,我真的覺得太誇張了....不過有希望是好事就是了, 至少曾經做過夢!

Dear Yu-hsuan,
我以前也都這麼想呢，所以覺得選人相對來說沒這麼重要，不過後來發現「上行下效」好像真有這麼回事，別說政府了，公司裡不也一樣，甚至小小的實驗室也會，所以「人」啊，還是挺奇妙的~

真的很感動人心的一段演說~~~
尤其是底下所有支持人們的投入更是讓我掉了眼淚.
記憶就回到了那2000.
希望Obama不會是阿扁呀~~~
千望不要讓那些充滿希望的人們失望了!!!
