I am still in the US and Joe is in Kuwait. Other friends in Thailand are safe. I am working with my friends here to raise the donation for people suffering from Tsunami. As Pip mentioned, the further damage for us is that people would afraid and our tourism will be declining rapidly. Please tell your friends that it's
just some specific areas that are affected.

All of us ( Mae, Kook , Ngor ,Mod and me ) are safe.

But I want to ask you to tell your friends that , there are still areas unaffected by the tsunami, and ready to accommodate tourists. These include Nopparat Thara, Ao Nang and Klong Muang beaches in Krabi and Ko Ngai, Ko Kradan and Ko Bulone in Trang. If you and your friends want to travel there , that' s ok.

I 've just see the news from TV, they showed that some part of Phi Phi Island are unaffected from this. Some hotels still can service the toursims. ( Now there are toursims enjoy swimming at Patong beach ) So don't be afraid to travel there!!!!!!! Thailand still warm welcome to you.

Tomorrow I will go to Kho - luk Phangnga to work as a volunteer for 4-5 days. When I come back, I will tell you about the environment there.

觀光旅遊是泰國相當重要的經濟來源，若許多地方未受海嘯破壞，那的確沒有必要避之唯恐不及。若對海邊仍有恐懼，那何不到內陸走走？泰國有許多歷史文化活動及史蹟值得研究探訪，而這些地區的文化深度絕對是海灘、人妖秀、Gay Bar等觀光區所遠遠不及的。希望大家不要忘了泰國這個國家以及中南半島書寫歷史的時間還比臺灣久耶！擁有這樣歷史深度的國家怎會只有海灘、SPA、燕窩、腰果、人妖以及五塔散呢？
