Albert Dock, Liverpool

Albert船塢包含碼頭及五座倉庫，是由身兼建築師及築港工程師的Jesse Hartley(1780-1860)設計，於1846年完工，並以維多利亞女皇的夫婿Prince Albert為名。

Albert船塢享有很多世界及英國第一的封號：世界第一棟耐燃倉庫；英國第一棟以鑄鐵、磚、石為材料的建築；1848年設備升級使用液壓起重設備，這又搶到了世界第一。現在這五座倉庫名列英國的一級古蹟，也是所有一級古蹟中最龐大的古蹟群。Albert Dock在1952年列為一級古蹟；1972年停止使用，1980年早期進行再開發，目前倉庫群朝多功能方向使用，包含TATE美術館、海事博物館、酒吧、餐廳、商店及辦公室進駐。
