New Bodleian Library (1937 - 1940), by Sir Giles G. Scott

It's been stocked on the shelves of the Flicker for nearly three Easters, waiting to be part of the journal of my Easter journey to Bodleian libraries (Part 1, Part 2). Yet, it's a shame that the Schmap got the picture before I can make of it.

這照片躺在芙麗可兒那快兩年寒暑，沒想到牛津圖書館尋寶遊戲思緒擁塞沒寫完，卻得到Schmap青睞，選為牛津導覽照片之一。腳踏車、圖書館、不管是學生還是遊客，總是非常牛津風味的一角，不是嗎？謝謝，謝謝！（揮手）

順道一題，新館的建築師為領了大英帝國功績勳章的Giles G. Scott爵士先生，除了出生建築世家外，一生作品也洋洋灑灑一大串。對遊客而言，最常見的作品應當是那不列顛街頭常見的紅色電話亭了。
