開始釘蝙蝠小屋前怎可不先來個大費周章的事前準備呢？
那，先解釋一下材料取得。一開始僅僅想省錢，後因緣讀到木子到森收集老房子拆除淘汰販售的舊木頭為創作素材，贊同其賦予舊木料新生命的想法也真的開始撿拾蒐集廢棄板材。主要的來源則是工業區常見的棧板，只是有個小小的困擾。

如夏晚鄉間的草蚊般揮也揮不走拔也拔不完的釘子 Orz...

因應材料特性，拔釘器、虎頭鉗也成了前期工作的重要工具。如果有尖嘴鉗的話更能如虎添翼，只是為了節錢省本，工具大多也是四處撿來要來，只能將就了。小牛皮手套的話，一方面是聽從人氣木工保護玉手的諄諄叮嚀，二方面也是家裡就剛好就有一時興起的一雙。

材料工具皆備再來就是清出一個工作區了。所以呢，挑片樹蔭、搬來附近被遺忘多年的枕木、空心磚、廢輪胎與石英磚、拿來阿嬤的陶藝勞作好收集釘子。

接下來，就是擺個一兩個月後再繼續拔釘子了吧？
