Bollywood seems to be getting more and more popular lately, thanks to the huge progress it’s making year after year – around 100 Bollywood films are released per year! Although hindi films are being released each year, meaning there’s high competition, the following famous actors seem to pop up in the most brilliant films – making them the highest earning Bollywood stars! Let’s take a look at them:
1. Amitabh Bachchan
Some might call this guy the godfather of Bollywood – he’s so famous, people have even nicknamed him Big B! If you wanted him in one of your movies, expect to pay 4-5 Indian crore, equal to around $214,431. He’s starred in an astonishing amount of movies!
2. Sanjay Dutt
Sanjay Dutt can mould himself into whatever role you want him to – want him to be the bad guy? He can do that! Want him to play a romantic hero? Even better! He’s starred in many films, all with various roles – and charges around 5 – 7 crore Indian rupees for every film he stars in.
3. John Abraham
This actor likes to mix his roles up a bit with both serious and comedic roles. He has a great physique, which often makes his female fans swoon upon his arrival – and even when watching him in Bollywood movies online! He earns around 7 crore Indian rupees for every film he stars in.
4. Ranbir Kapoor
The Kapoor family is world renowned in Bollywood, and when you see their films it isn’t hard to see why. He didn’t make much at the start of his career, but since he’s really made it he charges 8-10 crore Indian rupees for every movie.
5. Shahid Kapoor
If you need an avid actor/dancer, then Shahid Kapoor is your man. He has a loyal fanbase consisting of both men and women, and charges up to 12 crore Indian rupees for starring in a film.
6. Hrithik Roshan
If you need an actor with a unique style and personality, Hrithik Roshan is your guy. He’s also a great dancer too! He charges a whopping 25 crore Indian rupees for each film he stars in.
7. Akshay Kumar
Known as a comedic actor for starring in several comedy films, there are probably many things you don’t know about this great actor. For instance, did you know he’s a Taekwondo black belt? Thought not! Plus, he does all of his own stunts. To get him in your film you’d need 30 crore Indian rupees.
8. Shahrukh Khan
Some people call this actor the king of Bollywood. He has an international fan following, and earns around 20 crore Indian rupees per film. His net worth is around $600 million!
